Problem
The majority of effective odor control products marketed in the recreational vehicle industry contains toxic ingredients that are harmful, even fatal, if ingested or inhaled. Most of the products are merely masking agents that cover up the offensive odors emitted by the holding tanks. The recreational vehicle holding tests revealed that this highly concentrated product could be applied at a rate of 4 ounces per 40 gallon holding tank and still achieve outstanding odor control results. Comparable products on the market require an 8-ounce charge per 40 gallon holding tank. The “black water” which is contained in the holding tank for the toilet, was held for a period of five days in the test. The product controlled the odors remarkably well.
